When I was still a student, before becoming the manager of a company, I already enjoyed introducing products to customers who would appreciate them. By chance, I had the opportunity to take part in the journey of international auctions.
At the outset, my capital was only NT$50,000. My original intention was simply to sell items from home that were no longer needed to those who could make good use of them. As the number of customers grew and sales figures kept rising, I decided to establish Ming Da to meet customer demand, focusing primarily on selling the finest jewellery. I then reinvested the profits accumulated from customers to increase the company’s capital to NT$500,000.
In its early days, the company was located in an additional rooftop structure. This marked the official beginning of our expansion into the international auction market..
